“A lovely café, next to the lake, Natural light is abundant, thanks to a large window which extends down one side of the café. It’s great to know too that they use solar power, generated from roof panels as well as collecting and using rainwater”
“It’s a perfect way to start or end a walk, or just to visit for refreshments. There’s plenty of free parking, and in the same building, accessed separately are modern clean toilets. The staff are young and enthusiastic and helpful. There is a selection of hot foods, and specials of the day to choose from, as well as a tempting range of cakes ”

“Saw the lovely decking from afar and thought I’d try it out with my friend. Great idea to have a cafe in the park. Good use of space. I was greeted by a very friendly young lady behind the counter. I ordered the fish cakes and my friend had a panini and two lattes (which were lovely and hot). The food was worth the money. My fish cakes were delicious. The lady who brought out the food was very friendly and chatty. Would definitely be returning here and highly recommend this cafe!”

“This type of facility should have been here [Priory Country Park] years ago. First time I’ve been since the new decking area was added and what a bonus and brilliant space. The food and drink is also reasonable in price. I’d recommend here anytime. What was great today was watching a toddler have so much fun on the ramp up onto the deck, running up and down as well as rolling down it”

Lovely big windows to enjoy the view over the lake without the chill of the wind. Checked over the lunch menu, Cloverdale offers sandwiches, baguettes, jacket potatoes and quiche, as well as a hot food specials board, so we are keen to return to try a lunch option next time”.
