We have now been open for 3 years and take this opportunity to thank our customers for their continued custom. It has been great to see the numbers increasing as time goes by. We regard many of you as ‘Friends of the Retreat’ and look forward to seeing you appear on a regular basis.

The remaining stock in hand (mostly food containers), will be gradually phased out being replaced by compostable substitutes. On 8th December the local Sustrans have organised a ‘Santa Scoot’. Buggies, walkers and scooters will be welcome to take part (No bikes on this occasion however). The Cloverdale Retreat Coffee Shop are pleased to support this charity event by providing some refreshments at the end of the event.

The Poppy Walk for honour in aid of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal was held again in the Park on Sunday 12th August and featured live music. We were glad to support them with an electricity supply and collection box as in previous years.
The Park hosted the Race for Life events again this year which are in aid of Cancer Research UK. This was on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July and attracted huge crowds. We opened earlier on those days.

This autumn has been substantially busier than last autumn and peaked during the kids half term holidays which was the week beginning 23rd October 2017. At times we were full to capacity! We thank all our customers for their increasing support.
