On Tuesday 6th September 2016 the Retreat was official opened by the Mayor of Bedford, Dave Hodgson. There was a good turnout of well-wishers on the day. The Cloverdale Retreat first opened its doors on Saturday 30th July 2016 after a crash program of practical work during July with a view to catching some Summer trade.
