“A lovely cafe , next to the lake. Natural light is abundant , thanks to a large window which extends down one side of the cafe. It’s great to know too that they use solar power, generated from roof panels as well as collecting and using rainwater.
It’s a perfect way to start or end a walk , or just to visit for refreshments. There’s plenty of fee parking , and in the same building, accessed separately are modern clean toilets. The staff are young enthusiastic and helpful . There is a selection of hot foods, and specials of the day to choose from as well as a tempting range of cakes. Service is good; coffee is excellent. The cafe is clutter free and there is plenty of space between tables which is helpful. There is also a large outdoor seating area with views across the lake”
